Description

The Sequal Eclipse 5 Portable Oxygen Concentrator is a portable oxygen concentrator that can also double as a home concentrator for use around the clock. Sturdy and resilient, it provides optimum technology and easy maintenance for the best treatment for the user. The AutoSAT technology detects breathing patterns and adjusts accordingly to provide the prescribed amount of oxygen to the user. It acts as a type of “cruise control” as you would find in a car. When respiration increases, the compressor in the Eclipse 5 will also increase, allowing the flow of oxygen to meet the needs of the user.

Unlike most portable oxygen concentrators, it is equipped with both pulse and continuous flow to ensure the patient is never without the necessary oxygen. The power of the Caire Eclipse Portable Oxygen Concentrator allows not only for both pulse and continuous flow but also for increased settings, causing a “super bolus.” Settings 7, 8, and 9 in pulse mode allow for up to 192 mL per pulse. This is high enough that even patients on continuous mode are able to utilize this function, preserving the battery and oxygen for when it is needed most.

Making treatment even more customized, even the rise time is adjustable. The slow, medium, and high settings adjust the speed at which the bolus is delivered. On the high setting, the bolus is delivered in one quick burst, while the slow setting makes the bolus a slower release, almost like a continuous flow. No matter what is needed for respiratory therapy, the SeQual Eclipse 5 allows for prime treatment with the flexibility of being transportable.

The Eclipse 5 Concentrator has three options for power sources. It can utilize AC power outlets around the home or other buildings, DC power when in a vehicle or a battery for a more consistent movement like in a grocery store or on an airplane. Approved by the FAA, it is able to travel on flights, so the user is not limited in where, when or how they travel. When using the DC power source in a vehicle, the Eclipse is efficient enough with it’s the power that it is able to use all settings while plugged in. In fact, even in use and on lower settings, DC power is able to charge the battery for the oxygen concentrator.

With all of the technology, the Caire Eclipse still maintained a sense of simplicity in it’s construction. This allows for the user to perform simple maintenance themselves which prevents sending it back to the manufacturer and the hassle of finding a rental. With additional comforts such as a removable cart for transportation and an adjustable handle, the Eclipse 5 is the ultimate portable concentrator.
