The Scott Specialties Elastic Shoulder Immobilizer is made to keep the arms in a fixed position in order to recover quickly from any sort sprain, dislocations or fractures in the arm region. The shoulder immobilizer manufactured by Scott Specialties has been designed in such a way that it comes with special straps, that helps keeping the arms located in a particular area close to waist region not permitting enough movement to the arms for the quick healing process of the affected arms region. It also comes with specially designed cuffs a fore arm cuff and also a humerous cuff that help in keeping the arms in perfect position without much difficulty. This particular immobilizer is not arm specific, as in it can be worn on any arm. It is also not gender specific, but better fittings is provided when the male or female is mentioned as it differs from general fittings. The size of the immobilizer is also available in three basic sizes namely; large, medium and small. The size of the belt is chosen according to the size of the chest. The wide elastic band that comes along with the immobilizer is used to put around the waist, in order to put on the belt. The elastic wrap helps in applying the belt with much ease and avoiding any sort of difficulty.
